Casa Milà or more widely recognized as La Pedrera (the stone quarry) is one of many masterpieces of Antoni Gaudi. This modernist building was built between 1906 and 1912 as a home for Roser Segimon and her husband Pere Milà.
Because of its unique appearance and rare façade Casa Milà was declared a Unesco World Heritage Site on 2 November 1984.
I can imagine that at the time it was really strange and controversial building because of its stone facade and iron balconies and windows. Even nowadays it is hard to find something like this and it’s “beauty” is disputable. La Pedrera is very close to Hotel Ginebra, circa 10 minutes of walking in Paseo de Gracia, number 92. Also it is very close to Casa Batlló so once you are there continue your path to another Gaudi sight!
The entrance price is 22 euros and we recommend you to book it in advance to avoid waitings.
So if you want to be as close as possible to all these memorable attractions simply book your stay at Hotel Ginebra on this website (hotelginebra.com.es).
Insert your discount code PROMO2017, and your price will automatically discounted at least 7.5%.
La Pedrera is waiting for you!
